Branlin Oilfield Products was started in 1995 by Robert C. Falcon in Houston, Texas and was the first company to start selling the 13 5/8” VBR packers when the OEM’s patent ran out.  In creating Branlin, he drew on his experience as the Operations Manager for one the leading manufacturers of Type U blowout preventers in Houston.  Meeting the needs of his employer and many other manufacturers, Branlin’s business has grown by word of mouth and it has expanded its product line to include:

  • VBR’s for 7 1/16”, 11”, 13 5/8”, and 16 ¾
  • Sherical elements for 11”, 13 5/8” and 21 ¼”
  • Type “D” elements for 7”, 11” and 13 5/8”
